Streamlined Workflow: Synchronization of Actions and Rules with the Housekeeper Service
A new update to the Housekeeper Service (released in v5.2) brings the automatic synchronization of ‘Actions’ and ‘Rules’ across systems. This keeps your workflows and operational logic consistent, ensuring actions and rules are uniformly applied on designated channels.
This is a great addition for traffic and marketing departments to synchronize graphics templates and pages as well as actions and rules over to channels in the Master Control Room (MCR) ready for transmission.
Revolutionized Channel Management
Managing channels just got a lot more intuitive. With a revamped channel management system, the Viz Channel Branding client now offers a smoother, more dynamic experience for Scheduling and MCR modes.
What’s New:
- Easier Channel Administration: In Scheduling mode, you can now create, delete and edit channels with ease. In MCR mode, you can seamlessly select, and present channels, complete with status indicators.
- Enhanced Accessibility: Channel creation and management are no longer tied to the “Settings”, making them easier to use and more straightforward.
- Intuitive Interface: Clearer pathways for creating new channels, with a more logical placement of the channel selector to reflect its importance.
- Visual Upgrades: Channels now influence the main UI, not just a sidebar, providing a more cohesive experience. Modernized status icons in MCR mode support up to 12 channels. Longer, more descriptive channel names make it easier to identify channels. And the ability to incorporate channel logo images offers a more branded and professional appearance.
- Improved Stability: Bug fixes resolve issues such as crashes when deleting selected channels.

Effortless Organization: Scene Browser Enhancements
The Scene Browser is now smarter and more efficient. With new sorting options and improved folder management, you can easily find and organize scenes by name or modification date. The updated browser refreshes folder structures and content automatically or on-demand, saving you time and effort.
