Viz Artist 5.3

Viz Artist 5.3

Real-time graphics design tool for live motion graphics, virtual sets, augmented reality, and complex 3D animations.

Viz Artist 5 introduced a significantly enhanced user experience. An all-new Scene Tree benefits users with improved accessibility and navigation within Scene Tree Containers. New versions of Layer Manager and Scene Overview panel were included, plus IES Lighting and Adaptive Scene Design – which intelligently adjusts pre-defined output formats on the fly, were just some of the new features of Viz Artist 5.

The latest release, Viz Artist 5.3, delivers an improved user experience driven by a modern state-of-the-art user interface, coupled with an increase in application performance and several new features, including:

Improved Image Import: PBR Materials

When an image is imported, Viz Artist 5.3 will detect if PBR materials are present and if yes, then Viz Artist automatically creates the material, saving time and improving workflows. Related to this, Viz Artist users can now drag ZIP files into the Viz Artist GUI and files will automatically expand and import into Graphic Hub.

Improved Configurable Shortcuts

Viz Artist 5.3 delivers an improved user experience by introducing a more advanced implementation of Configurable Shortcuts, including Import/Export Profiles, as well as the ability to modify Viz Engine Shortcuts. This is especially helpful to users who work with other 3D graphics design applications, such as Blender.

Pre-built Templates for Coding Shaders

Viz Artist 5.3 delivers a library of pre-built templates for writing, or coding, Shaders.

History (Undo/Redo)

Viz Artist 5.3 introduces a new visual History feature which allows the Designer to jump to any point, undoing or redoing individual or multiple actions (steps).

Graphic Hub Restart

Users of Viz Artist may now switch to a different Graphic Hub without first restarting Viz Artist.

Security enhancements and bug fixes are also included in Viz Artist 5.3. Viz Artist application installers and product documentation, including Release Notes, are available via the Vizrt FTP Site in products/VizArtist/VizArtist5x/Latest.
