Zeke Tan Thiam Soon lives in Singapore and currently works as a Senior Graphics Designer, Broadcasting Services at the Singapore Turf Club. He has been working with the club since 2009, where his main responsibility is producing broadcast design packages for the Horse Racing Channel.
Zeke Tan graduated from Central Academy Of Art, in Malaysia with a Diploma in Graphics Design and has been doing motion graphics, visual effects, compositing, 3D animation and broadcast design his entire career.
He started using Viz Artist when his team chose to use Vizrt’s system as their main live broadcasting graphics solution and explains that great training and smart workflows were provided during the migration from old to new graphics system and that he was very impressed by Vizrt’s real-time engine and the flexibility of the software. Zeke has been using Vizrt’s products for 7 years since he joined the club.
“I remember that I could only created some basic animated templates when I was first introduced to Vizrt. Now, I can make good use of Transition Logic for graphics packages, I have control over scene animations, script coding, interactive touch-screen and virtual sets.
It is a great honour to be the next Certified Pro Viz Artist Designer.
