Virtual & XR Production
At IBC 2024 Vizrt showcased its immersive virtual studios and comprehensive video wall content, controlled through Viz Multiplay, is a game changer for enhanced studio production.
Experts demonstrated AR and VR: Unreal Engine, set extensions with LED screens, color correction, and AI. Viz Engine 5.3 also, previewed on the show floor, includes a migration helper tool that saves hours of effort migrating and converting large graphic libraries to Viz Engine 5’s powerful Renderer.
Enhancements to the Renderer bring the first iteration of a Vizrt-designed Particle Effects System, a new Multilayer XR Sequence feature, and a talent-driven 3D Line Drawing Tool.
Another hot topic from the show floor was election tech. Since this year is a super election, many broadcasters are turning to Vizrt technology to take storytelling to the next level. From augmented reality graphics, and real-time data integration to supporting virtual and hybrid studios, discover how Vizrt is transforming how the world engages with democracy.
Live Sports Production Assistance
What does the ultimate sports pre-game/half-time show look like?
It looks like your vizion. Sports solutions are here to provide stunning analysis, pre-, post-, or during the game – but what truly matters is letting a production’s creativity reach its highest potential.
Vizrt brings a host of sports solutions to the table, including Viz Arena, Viz 3Play, and Viz Libero, diversifying fan engagement, sponsor opportunities, and diving deeper into sports content. Studio automation tool Viz Mosart works as a 24/7 production assistant for a high-quality, efficient, and integrated sports production.
The Vizion Control Room
A practical glimpse into how a Vizrt control room operates, the perfect discussion hub around control solutions was set up. Including the TriCaster Vizion, Control Panels – Vizrt, Viz Mosart for automation, Viz Pilot Edge for newsroom graphics, Viz Flowics for HTML5 graphics, the brand-new PTZ3 UHD PLUS, and the hub of a complete digital media production ecosystem.
Partnering this with AI presenter tracking and pre-configured lens files, broadcast-quality AR/VR graphics are now within reach of every content creator. All through a single ethernet cable.
End-to-end newsroom
In a fully integrated, templated workflow, journalists can control all graphics. With Viz Engine, Viz Pilot Edge, or Viz Flowics, we demonstrated Vizrt’s unique ability to integrate all tools and outputs, guaranteeing seamless collaboration across platforms.
This means no change to the journalist workflow, with end-to-end graphics, journalists have all tools needed for their newsroom.
Vizrt offers many data and application integration capabilities to adapt to various workflows and requirements, making the journalist more autonomous, but safely relying on a vendor-supported product and not a collection of open sources.
MAM & Live Cloud Production
Cloud deployments using Viz Now and a preview of TriCaster Vectar with HDR, an exclusive cloud feature, generated interesting conversations.
In fact, Vizrt’s two cloud-ready video production switchers, TriCaster Vectar and TriCaster Now, are available in AWS Marketplace. With this, content creators have even more choice in how they access, test, and buy the cloud-hosted video production system that suits their needs. More details to be shared soon!
Enterprise MAM, the backbone for every broadcaster, was also featured. Previews of updated NLE integrations and a new version of our edit tool Viz One: Story, showcasing demonstrations of new metagraphics capabilities in Studio, and a beta version of a web portal toolkit that will support customers to monetize their Viz One content.
Viz One 8: coming soon!
The next generation of Vizrt’s flagship MAM system, Viz One 8, will bring an easy-to-upgrade platform, allowing customers to introduce new features and capabilities to their Viz One system much more frequently. Viz One 8 is containerized, futureproof and secure by default, making the most of cloud technologies to offer a scalable and highly available asset management solution.

ROE Visual XR for Content Creators set up with Viz Virtual Studio Go
XR for Content Creators
At the ROE Visual booth, an innovative solution was showcased, designed for content creators in smaller studios – sports productions, corporate events, or anyone without access to a full XR studio.
While Viz Virtual Studio Go renders Cuebric’s AI-driven scenes, a robotic camera system from Tecnopoint complements this, enabling professional-quality PTZ camera movements for live video production. The solution is integrated with NDI and embedded tracking data from Vizrt.
Sports and newsrooms efficiencies
At the AWS Sports Live Production showcase, the European League of Football (ELF) is highlighted as a successful use case, with an all-Vizrt cloud system producing around 100 games per season. The demo includes TriCaster Vectar with Flex control panel, Viz 3Play, Viz Engine, Viz Trio, and the debut of Viz Arena in the cloud.
Logic Media, a Vizrt partner, contributed a remote commentary solution. Additionally, the AWS Newsroom showcase features proof of concept, featuring Viz Mosart, TriCaster Vectar, and Viz Flowics.
