Vizrt Austria GmbH wins Austrian Export Award 2018

Vizrt Austria GmbH is delighted to have received the Gold Austrian Export Award 2018 in the category “Information technology and consulting” at the Exporters’ Nite on the 21st of June. 

The award recognizes exceptional commitment and success among Austrian companies in international markets and honors the companies whose international activity has boosted the economy, increased prosperity, and created jobs.

In Vienna’s Museum’s quarter, the Minister of Economic Affairs Margarete Schramböck and WKÖ President Harald Mahrer paid tribute to the extraordinary success of local entrepreneurs in foreign markets. Vizrt came in first place from a pool of over 125,000 service companies in the information communication, and consulting sectors.

“This evening belongs to the Austrian export industry, which is making a splash worldwide with its successes,” emphasized WKĂ– President Mahrer. “With the export prize, we show our appreciation for Austria’s outstanding pioneers in exports.”

The winners of the Austrian Export Award are selected by an independent expert jury of whom include well-known personalities from the domestics economy, politics, and media, guaranteeing an objective evaluation of the applications.

The jury judged more than 300 submissions on the basis of export performance in recent years. The prize is awarded in six main categories: Business & Trade, Commerce, Industry, Information & Consulting, Tourism & Leisure, Transportation & Transport.
