Mr. Rastatter says passing the exam will boost his profile in the freelancer job market. “Having this certification will give me an advantage when looking for freelance work,” he says, adding there is demand for broadcasting professionals with Viz Artist and Viz Trio experience in the Washington D.C. area where he lives.
He started using Viz Artist eight years ago while working on graphics at Al Jazeera. For the past six years, he has worked as a graphics designer at ABC News/ESPN. “Viz Trio efficiently organizes and plays out the graphics I build in Viz Artist out to air,” he says.
