Viz Guru - Argentina
For an entire week in December, Vizrt’s Viz Guru made its way to Buenos Aires using Viditec facilities, its representative in the Southern Cone.
The event lasted from the 14th to 17th of December and the 18th the day of Latest & Greatest!
Where the latest Viz 3 people attended and received demonstrations of the visual and multi-channel techniques.
The event was attended by company executives, who traveled specifically for the event, including Paul Goldszeft Vizrt Manager Latin America Peter Sugasti, Representative for Argentina and Leslie Kajomovitz who was in charge of direction of the course.
The event was an excellent excuse to treat various issues especially those related to the new version of Viz 3.2, scripting and interactivity. 'With attendees using Viz software everyday for over more than a year, the course was super advanced', said Sugasti. 'We have a community of people who know how to use Viz and the idea is that they learn to do more advanced things. "
Participants included designers, technical and Gizmo, TV Bandeirantes, RCN NTN 24, Cronica TV, SportPlus, Art, C5N, Promtv, and Pop Up among others.
Among the novelties presented by the company highlighted the Viz 3.2, the tool in which the engine was improved and its GUI. This new version has many new plugins, FXs, Shaders, Advanced Materials, Full integration with Viz Curious World Maps Server and MAM: Viz Video Hub.
The topics covered included the installation of Viz Artist 3.2, with an introduction to its GUI system Features and differences with the previous version 2.8, Introduction to Viz Graphic Hub, use and setup User Admin, the Backup and Restore, how import in both versions and how to configure settings, along with the Flags, the command console, and the use of Action Keyframes.
The second day was devoted to animation, explaining the new features of Viz Artist 3.2: Camera, Focus, Audio, Lighting, light tracking, Dynamic Textures, Clips Overview DVE / Texture, Codecs, Post-Rendering, Transition Logic Overview, Options and Toggle some practical cases of animation.
The third day we developed the theme of interactivity, with an introduction to Datapool, Workflow and explained how to assemble the DataText, DataNumber, DataMaterial
DataSwitch, DataAlpha / DataAction, DataActionKF, DataArray; DataObject, Structure, Table, among others.
The fourth day explained the operation of the Media Sequencer Engine (Log, Config VDConfig) and Viz Trio 2.9 where some concepts and variations along with playlists and its upgrade to HD were explained. By the end of the course the proper use of the Alpha Types and keying, the Transition Scenes, and Plugins: RealFx, Spline FX ShaderFX, Pixel FX, and RTT shaders were explained and demonstrated in great detail.
