Version 9.1 of Viz Curious Maps Client (CMC) and Server (CMS) is a minor release.

    • Improved Search capabilities.
    • Abbreviations (USA, UK, GA etc.)
    • Tooltips
    • Access to Imported Shape data
    • Support for Region Capitals
    • and more ...
  • Major improvements on vector rendering which is achieved by splitting vector data into grids.
  • Road Manager, Enables importing road shape files into Viz Curious Maps Server.
  • Border Manager, Enables importing border shape files into Viz Curious Maps Server.
  • Synchronize of user databases between servers (user names, user pointes)
  • “DigitalGlobe Online – an online tiles service for imagery from the DigitalGlobe servers”
  • Automatic linking of hop points (NavLink).
  • The MapLayersControl plug-in is added for better control over pyramid/tiller tiles.
  • Window option for Navigator.
  • Client now supports two silent installation modes.
  • and more ...

Fixed Issues:

  • Creating the same cache file from 2 different computers at the same time can end up with a corrupted cache file. This can happen for example if a complete playlist was sent to a fresh computer (without cache) and the Init all button was pressed.
  • Locator – When using the locator on Navigator, the location indicator stays the same size, regardless of the size of the area displayed on the map.
  • Navigator – Hops which are close can cause texture overlaps when using pyramid. This is fixed with the new pyramid control plug-in. Pyramid control will only work with any 2.X version and 3.3 versions and above.
