Viz Weather version 1.12 released
February 26, 2009Viz Weather version 1.12 is a minor release update.
The update is recommended for users who require the new features, included bug fixes, or for new installations.
New Features:
- Allow multiple drag of data elements
- Post clips and snap images can be done on the on-air machine
- Render on multiple Viz Engines for different channels in a playlist
- Added search for data elements
- Enhanced redundancy by allowing the playlist continue running on the program machine even if the preview fails.
- Support fetching weather data using Https protocol
- Support particle scenes in shader mode
- Improved initialization time for ISO/radar/satellite/zoning data elements if the scene was saved in Viz Artist with weather data
- More options to configure the post render and snap image, i.e. file name, sub-folder and post action command
- Support option to not update fetched weather point values if the data supplier returns a {DNU} value
- Ability to sort playlist by any column
- Display the machine name when working in playout mode
- Allow setting the Viz window to any size, according to the screen resolution.
- Support additional Epson dll fields
- Radar scenes – allow particle colors from clip (WRadar)
- Support dissolve and morph blending type in ColorMap and TexPalette
- New install shield to install all Viz Weather components (although Viz Artist is still a different installation) called VizrtVizWeatherAll x.x.x
Fixed Issues
- Rendering post clips no longer reach timeout on large clips
- Iterative playlist was not in the playlist default page
- IsoGrid was not able to run on a single data file
- WClouds - increased maximum particles to 100,000
- BoxSize - moved to default folder in Viz
- Renamed filename WClouds_SceneBuilder to WCloudsSceneBuilder
