Vizrt

Viz Content Pilot 5.1.9 is a maintenance release.

This version contains mostly bugfixes, in VCP, VTW, VTM and Newsroom component.

It is recommended as update to installations of 5.1.8 package release, or for new installations.

Main bug fixes:

• Some MOS playlist fixes; VCP now better handles removing of playlist settings when a playlist is deleted in the Newsroom Control System
• Newsroom component fixes related to setting custom parameters.
• When overwriting a template VTW/VTM will now send a master template update to the MSE.
• Some UTF8 fixes related to "Save" that were not performed correctly (On Japanese OS clients).
• Introduced a new script function "buffer_put-unicode" to solve problems related to UTF8 scripts.

Important Installation notes:

If upgrading from a VCP version below 5.1.7, a database structure update is required. The upgrade scripts are supplied with the previous installation package, see more information here

Note that upgrading from a VCP version below 5.x requires a major update of the database structure and therefore recommended to be performed in coordination with Vizrt support.

For upgrades of VCP version 5.1.7 and up, no database structure update is required.
