Viz Curious Maps Client and Server version 8.5.0 released

Version 8.5.0 of Viz Curious Maps Client (CMC) and Server (CMS) is a minor release.
It is recommended for users who require the new features and bug fixes or for new installations.
If you plan to upgrade from an older version, it is recommended to upgrade to this version.
New features:
- Region, border and street data can now be rendered in real-time in Viz Engine on flat maps or globe.
- Regions can now also be colored or textured, rendered in 3D (extruded) or 2D. Region color can either be determined by manual selection in CME or by data such as election results.
- Borders can now also be fixed (by pixel) or react to zoom level
- Each street data category can now also have its own characteristics such as width, outline, color and transparency, and the way it reacts to zoom level
- Terrain display is now enhanced in order to allow terrain as part of a camera zoom pyramid.
- LightsOnGlobe is a new plug-in that enables advanced lighting on a spherical object such as a globe map.
- Election related features that allow pushing data (e.g. voting or polling results) into region and sub-region properties.
- Additional navigation assistance modes, such as navigation according to region boundaries, absolute positions etc.
- Better support for touch screen interactivity by allowing navigation and selection for map data by touch position.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed issues with the maps editor (CME) where CMR overlays appearing in the detail list in the maps client (CMC).
- Fixed pyramid issues concerning street data and borders changing appearence between adjacent pyramid levels.
- Fixed C3DTerrain and Pyramid issues where a terrain below sea level would get obstructed by the low-resolution base globe or map.
- Fixed 3DRegion issues where regions were not created properly across the day line (longitude 180).
- Fixed maps client (CMC) issues where the 'All Caps' feature in the maps editor's (CME) styles editor was not reflected in 3D labels.
- Fixed 3DRegionManager issues where sub-regions' design was not avaliable through the database.
