Viz Ardome 4.8.1 is released

Viz Ardome 4.8.1 is a major update release. It includes optional upgrade for :
- Viz Capture 4.0
- Viz EasyCut 4.1
- Viz Ardome Third Party API 4.4.0
Viz Ardome 4.8.0 and 4.8.1 main new features and bugfixes:
- Multifile and multiformat playout staging support, including a re-factorization of the playout transfer subsystem. This resolves a lot of issues with playout staging and down-conversion logic.
- EVS Clip Exchange with support for MXF OP1a.
- Improved error feedback on file import.
- Passing metadata to Final Cut Pro and Avid NLE's.
- Passing annotation information to Final Cut Pro.
- Format conversion between IMX50 and DV25.
- Viz Capture 4.0 with reworked GUI and spot-checking support.
- SMPTE VC-3 workflow support.
- Support for H.264 video browsing.
Viz Capture 4.0 release highlights:
- Spot checking with embedded Hi-Res player.
- GUI improvements.
An update is recommended only for users who require the new functionality.
Viz EasyCut 4.1 release highlights:
- Save EDLs in Viz Ardome.
In all windows clients (EasyCut, PreCut, MediaLogger and Preview)
- In AMF, the new framework for handling and playing media, scrubbing and playback performance is greatly improved.
- Windows Vista support.
Viz Ardome Third-party API 4.4.0
The API now includes a more generalized and documented JMS support, as well as
new API functions: Policy API, Quality Control API and Asset API.
Support for deprecated metadata handling, which was previously removed is now
re-implemented for backward compatibility
