Now the Media Library stands as a treasured national asset that has positively inspired program-makers to produce fascinating documentaries on German players and clubs that they would never have attempted, without the help from the archive. Individual clubs now have access rights to all the material for their own coaching or promotional use. The cost and effort has already more than paid for itself.
