Interactivity is widely supported throughout all of the Vizrt news solution. The integration of interactive elements applies to all aspects of the workflow and is supported already in the earliest steps of creating graphics and templates.

When designing scenes, the graphic artists lay the basis for later interactivity. The addition of a powerful scripting language in Viz Artist allows scripts to be called though other procedures, events or via a user input such as touch-screens. All Vizrt products included in the news solution natively support interactivity. Both Viz Trio and Viz Content Pilot allow journalist to access and edit the interactive elements in pre-defined graphics templates.

Live 3D tickers can be used to automatically integrate data feeds from information providers. The ticker content can be continually updated from external feeds such as election or sports results, news wires, weather, or financial data. For last minute changes content can also be entered manually. Vizrt's SMS Message Feed application allows viewers to interact by sending their comments, greetings and shout-outs via text message (SMS). The incoming SMS are automatically available in the ticker application and the character generator.
