Escenic Widget Framework

The Escenic Widget Framework is a new configuration layer that enables users to create complex layouts with simple drag-and-drop operations. Each widget represents a certain functionality and layout and can be freely positioned on the page. All the widgets in the Widget Framework can be configured to suite various needs. In addition, users can develop their own widgets or expand on the existing widgets, and even share widgets with other Escenic customers.

Seamless integration

Escenic Content Studio 5 is easily extendable with additional modules that enable integration with Vizrt graphics and asset management solutions. 3D graphics, maps, and video can be added to stories and content can be published across different platforms.

Giving maps a new face - Viz Curious Maps

Viz Curious Maps is the de facto standard for branded maps and geographic animation in the media industry. It enables users to generate still images, videos and interactive maps with pre-defined styles. The Viz Curious Maps module supports the use of satellite and high resolution imagery in map templates.

New maps, including 3D objects and animations, can be created from within Escenic Content Studio, directly at the journalist’s desktop. The user prepares the map by simply choosing a location in the Viz Curious Maps database and then fills the templates with additonal information such as a reporter's name etc. The finished map can then be used on the web, TV or in print.

A solution for managing online video - Viz Video Hub

Viz Video Hub is Vizrt's Media Asset Management system. It allows journalists to easily search video clips, stills, and audio files from within Escenic Content Studio and then publish them with their stories. Viz Video Hub is a stand-alone, modular solution that comes pre-configured and can evolve to match growing demands for storage or a larger user base.

In addition, Viz Video Hub features two professional desktop editing solutions that allow journalists to easily edit video files from their desktop.

Adding Graphics to the workflow

Viz Content Pilot provides a perfect environment for the creation, management, and delivery of high volumes of top-quality graphics; independently of the design department. The consequent use of templates allows the editorial staff to enter data, images and videos into pre-defined graphic animations and to preview the end result instantaneously within Content Studio. The graphics can be posted with the stories as stills, videos or interactive 3D elements.

Personalise the live web experience

Viz Multi Platform Suite (MPS) is Vizrt’s unique solution for live, personalised, interactive content on the web. The technology allows journalists to generate live animated graphics with their stories. It also ties-in with the Escenic Community Engine to create one of the most powerful live events solution on the web.
