Job Description

In this role you will be the major technical contact to our customers. This means you will be in direct contact with broadcasters all over the globe.

You will be part of a Professional Services team, setting up, configuring and customizing systems at customer sites, including integration with 3rd party hardware and software as well. The team is also responsible for answering technical questions from the customers as well as the technical solutions delivered.

Most of the work will be done with remote access but there will also be significant opportunities to travel to customers in interesting parts of the world.

Ideal skills required for this position

  • Master of Science with computer science skills or equivalent
  • Installation and maintenance of Unixsystems and storage systems, primarily Linux
  • Software development in Unix environment.? Primarily automation and server software, mainly in Perl
  • Knowledge about technologies such as XML and SOAP
  • Relevant experience of professional systemadministration
  • Self motivated, responsible, and responsive to customer requirements
  • Comfortable in technically complex environments
  • Good level of English, both writing and speaking
  • Experience in large scale storage systems, other languages, Oracle and DB2 databases as well as knowledgeable or have worked in a broadcast and media environment are meriting
