Vizrt focuses on creating software for the media industry. We have well known customers all over the world such as SVT, Fox, CNN and BBC. Our product range includes tools for simplifying the work at TV stations, which means digitizing material, managing the media, video editing, transcoding between different media formats and archiving. It is our job to make sure that content meets expression.

We are currently building up a new support organization that will be based in New York, Sydney and Stockholm working with 2nd and 3rd line support. The Support organisation consist of a core support team where you as a system specialist will have a key role. As a system specialist you will be the technical contact for our support customers, and share the responsibility for helping the customers in their environment to solve complex support issues together with the rest of the team.

Skills required for this position:

  • M. Sc in computer science or equivalent skills.
  • Installation and maintenance of Unix systems and storage systems, primarily Linux.
  • Scripting experience in Unix environment, preferably Perl.
  • Relevant experience of professional system administration.
  • Self motivated and responsive to customer requirements.
  • Eager to help and solve the customer problems.
  • Comfortable in technically complex environments.
  • Good level of English, both writing and speaking.

Experience of storage systems, knowledge about digital media and broadcast engineering as well as additional languages skills are also meriting.
