Quality Assurance Role at Vizrt
Kista, Sweden
Vizrt is building highly complex software that is critical for our clients' business success. Very large television companies around the world are using our system to create and broadcast content. To make sure that we can deliver a feature rich product with high quality we have a Quality Assurance team that works close together with our development teams. The goal is to find defects and bugs at the earliest stage possible, through well defined automatic and manual test procedures.
If you get the position you will be stationed at our office in Kista, with around 85 colleagues, where we work in pleasant and open spaces. The working environment is international and creative.
Duties
As a member of the Quality Assurance team you will both plan, lead and execute testing on all levels. The goal is to ensure that our product has the high quality our customers expect. We need to trap the bugs before they leave our building, trap them early and fast!
Currently we are focusing on manual tests but our intention is to increase and improve the amount of automatic integration tests. We think that you have the necessary skills to contribute with knowledge, ideas and drive to accomplish and implement that. Our system integrates with a lot of external systems and software, which makes it a real challange to test in a systematic, rapid and efficient way.
We belive you have the following profile:
* Master of Science in Computer Science or equvivalent
* Experinece of product testing
* Experience of and interest in automatic testing is meriting
* Project leader experience is meriting, to ease the implementation of new procedures and processe
* Programming experience in any programming language is meriting
* You are creative, full of initiatives and can deliver
* Good command of English, since all company communication is done in English
