Vizrt is looking for a C# developer

Vizrt develops video intensive software for handling of media at TV stations around the world. The software is used by photographers to move content from their cameras to the system to allow the journalists to cut the story for the evening news and finally automatically send it to broadcast to be viewed by millions of spectators. Our software makes a difference!

We are now looking for you with a thorough technical education with experience of C# with WPF as the user interface layer. You should have an interest for program design as well as UI design and usability. The last thing is about enabling our users to efficiently take advantage of the features we provide for them.

If you get the position you will be stationed at our office in Kista, with around 85 colleagues, where we work in pleasant and open spaces. The working environment is international and creative.

Duties

You will work with all parts of the development process: design, planning, implementation and testing. We work with scrum as the development methodology with self written tests and short release cycles as a base.

Many of our existing products are written in C++ with MFC as presentation layer. You will first and foremost participate in development of new products using C#/WPF to replace the existing ones but will also do some maintenance on our existing code base.

We believe you have the following profile:

  • Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience of C# development with WPF as UI layer
  • Experience and interest in automatic testing is meriting
  • You are creative, full of initiatives and can deliver
  • Good command of English, since all company communication is done in English
